申请助学金的范文

To whom it may concern:

I am writing this letter to apply for a student financial aid. My name is XXX, I am a senior student in XXX University and major in Computer Science.

I come from a poor family with limited financial support. I am the only one who supports all my tuition fees and living costs. Even so, I ma unable to cope with all the expenses and sometimes cannot keep up with the pay dates, resulting in some unpayable tuition fees. Although I tried to get a part-time job, I cannot maintain a good academic performance and have a job at the same time due to high academic workload.

I feel extremely grateful if I can get financial support from your foundation. It would greatly alleviate my financial burden and thus allow me to focus more on my studies. I would also feel obliged to pay back to the society by using my knowledge to serve others after I graduated.
